Find-N-Load
Find-N-Load |
Language: |
VBA |
Find-N-Load is a VB(a) program compiled into an executable that helps you find, load and unload your LISP, VBA, ARX, and DCL files.
More
It works by digging around in your hard drive to find all of your little gems that you have either misplaced or completely forgot about. Simply click the icon on your desktop, start menu, or quick launch toolbar.
The program types are each listed in a check list on separate tabs for easy selection of the files to load into AutoCAD. Simply select the file(s) to load and click the 'Load Selected' button. All of your selected items on that tab will be loaded into AutoCAD.
If AutoCAD is not running, it will start it for you and then load the required program(s). This is good when you have a program designed to operate on many different files. You can also inspect and unload VBA and ARX modules by selecting the Tools menu. Current known issues are: When searching for all file types on a drive with a large number of files on them (around 60,000+) It appears to stop responding for a few seconds. This is because of the time required to parse the entire directory structure. It is advisable to start the program in the background at startup by selecting the "Load at Startup" option if you have a large number of files on the searched drive. The AutoCAD 2000 type library does not support the listing of currently loaded VBA projects. This program is currently under more development so check back regularly for updates.

XCR (Crossing Lines/Arcs) |
Language: |
VisualLISP |
XCR ~ Vlisp routine which places an arc over the crossing intersection of lines or arcs. The user is prompted for the crossing line/arc, followed by the intersection. An arc is inserted in the crossing line/arc and the section of line/arc within the “crossing arc” is removed. The newly inserted “crossing arc” takes on the layer properties of the original line/arc selected. The diameter of the crossing arc is remembered through AutoCAD sessions by use of the config file and can be changed any time the routine is run. Command line: XCR |

PUG (Purge Unused Groups)
PUG (Purge Unused Groups) |
Language: |
VisualLISP |
Purge Unused Groups, or to be specific, a VLISP routine which erases unused or empty groups from the drawing database. If some maniac has run through your drawing deleting groups without exploding them first (in the Group dialogue box), then you will have a number of groups left in the database and the normal purge routine will not get rid of them. This results in unnecessary overheads in your drawing file. This routine searches through the Groups dictionary, compiling a list of all the groups in the drawing. It then checks that each group listed has a number of entities contained under that group name. If the group has no entities, then the group has been deleted from the drawing at some point, and this routine will erase that group name from the groups dictionary. Command Line: PUG |
